Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Customer requirement for on-site Developer to support Manhattan WMS implementation at Kettering.

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

As an individual, the candidate is expected to fulfil following responsibilities:

? Work with business users to understand and define warehouse requirements and ‘to-be’ processes,

? Provide support to Functional and Technical Design activities.

? Provide functional inputs to the project team; guide best practices and standards, etc.

? Define test cases / user acceptance criterions essential for successful implementation and go live.

? Support product configurations, development, work flows etc.

? Support design and development of reports and labels.

? Identify product gaps, product issues, suggest workarounds

? Carry out testing and support UAT, hyper care and help to resolve issues

? Support requirement and design workshops

? Support POCs and product demos

Key Skills/ Knowledge:

? End-to-end Manhattan WMS implementation experience as Tester, for at least one program for a Greenfield and for a Brownfield DC.

? In depth knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes for 3PL organizations.

? Experience in defining test cases / specifications.

? Experience in carrying out testing activities, preferably using automation tools.

? In depth knowledge of warehouse setup, inbound, inventory, outbound operations, yard management

? Experience with the flows in Web UI, RF

? Expertise in scripting, policies, archive setup, background jobs and tasks

? Knowledge of Web – UI, reports and labels development

? Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentation)

Experience required:

? 7-12 years of overall experience out of which should have at least 5 – 6 years of experience in Manhattan WMS implementation.

Duration of the Assignment:

3 months to 6 months

Additional remarks (if any):

Good to have skills:

? Experience on both on-premise and cloud instances, multi-site, multi-customer instance

? Experience in Manhattan integration framework.

? Experience in Agile based delivery and related tools.

? Knowledge of Cross Dock and other extended WMS solutions.

? Knowledge of TMS, WLM and EMS applications

? Knowledge of RF development

? Familiar with product installation, infrastructure requirements, RF and voice devices

Person Specification:

I.e. Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/ team member skills, supportive.

– Experience in leading requirement / design workshops
